Earth Friendly and Ethically Made

We're not like mainstream brands, and we're proud of that.

Most businesses mass produce their goods with little care for the environment or their workers, but that's not the Lotus Tribe way. Our vision is to be able to create affordable earth friendly and ethically made yoga lifestyle wear that is accessible to anyone. So that people don't have to compromise their values to have comfortable and stylish clothes that make them look great and feel confident about their choices

We aspire to foster change in the world, through our business model, and become an example in the fashion industry in terms of environmentalism and giving back to the people and planet, with a specific focus on reducing microplastic pollution from fashion.

For this reason, we created the brand that we would want to shop with ourselves. Our mission at Lotus Tribe is to offer you the very best in eco friendly clothing and accessories that are created with Slow Fashion principles and offer it all at affordable prices,

Our commitment to protecting Mother Nature is first and foremost in all of our creations.

We do this in 3 main ways: The first is by using natural, plant-based fabrics exclusively. The second is by shipping in (minimal) plastic free packaging. The third is giving back to this wonderful planet through our tree planting initiatives. We offer an earth friendly option, so that you have a choice in your purchasing.

By choosing Lotus Tribe Clothing for your wardrobe and gifts, you are consciously deciding to:

  • Minimize microplastics in the ocean.
  • Reduce unnecessary plastic waste in shipping.
  • Support healthy working conditions.
  • Give people the option to wear natural, breathable materials that are better for their health and the planet.
  • Aide in reforestation of the Earth’s forests.
  • Facilitate & promote the ideal of slow fashion.
  • Support a small independently owned brand.
  • Pay a fair living wage to those who make your clothing.
  • Help keep traditional arts alive.
  • Look good while doing good.

For fashion, the first question is whether it's made of natural fibers. Synthetic clothing is made from fossil fuels and the petrochemicals are toxic at every stage or production and manufacturing, harming all life on Earth.

Everything at Lotus Tribe Clothing is ethically created from plant based fabrics.

We use cotton or cellulose (plant-based) rayon and tree-pulp based viscose, designed to be as soft on the earth as it is on your skin. To learn more about our fabrics, click here

Choosing renewable plant based clothing reduces our personal ecological footprint dramatically.

To reduce our impact further, we use minimal packaging which is plastic free and compostable. You can learn more about our plastic free packaging commitment on this page

In fact, we want to go a step further and give back to Mother Earth. So we plant a tree in your name for every purchase, by supporting the fabulous TreeSisters organisation (www.treesisters.org). Radical reforestation is our goal helping to absorb carbon from the atmosphere, providing habitat for forest creatures and improving the air we breathe. For more information on our reforestation program, click here.

We're committed to being as earth friendly as possible, and hope you are too. Make the switch. Join the Tribe and help us save the earth through mindful consumerism.

"Be the change you wish to see in the world." ~Mahatma Gandhi, activist & political ethicist

Did you realize that you have not only an opportunity to help create a better world but also the power to do so?

You don't have to sacrifice your ethics for clothes that make you look good and feel great on your skin.

One way to minimize our personal impact is to shop mindfully. To pick businesses and brands who are Earth friendly. This awareness can be cultivated and become a part of your daily practices. Any business who truly cares about the Earth, respects and cares for nature and has policies in place to protect it, will be more than happy to tell you about it. If you visit a bran's website don't see any eco practices listed, its because they don't have any.
