Washing Guide
Yoga Wear can be washed by hand or in the machine and tumble or hang dried. We suggest using a tumble dryer at least every 4th washing to keep the original size and shape. This include all cotton/spandex blend stretchy items such as bras, undies and yoga wear.
Goddess Wear made of our signature viscose/spandex eco tree-pulp fabric can be washed by hand or in the machine in cold water and tumble or hang dried. This includes Devi, DewDrop and Ninja Tops as well as most of our stretchy skirts.
Patchwork items should always be Hand Washed in cold water and hung dry. All 100% cotton and 100% rayon items will have shrinkage if a machine dryer is used.
Our Merkaki and Island Collections are preshrunk in the making of the garments. We do suggest hand wash or using a mesh washing bag on Delicate is using a machine. You can then hang dry or machine dry.
We have simple suggestions to keep your clothes in good condition with as little environmental impact as possible. We recommend washing with a natural, mild, no phosphate detergent (such as Dr. Bronners Pure Castile Liquid Soap) whether hand or machine washing. Harsh detergents, bleach, fabric softners and other chemical additives damage your clothing and the environment. Hang drying reduces your energy consumption and associated impacts. The more kind you are to your clothing, the longer it will last.
